Homeowner browsing

KnowAGuyNJ is designed so homeowners can browse listings without creating an account or submitting a project lead. We do not intentionally collect homeowner contact information merely to display directory results.

Business listing information

Businesses may provide information needed to create and maintain a listing, including business name, contact information, service areas, website, logo, licensing or registration details, and billing contact information.

Payments

When online payments are enabled, payment processing will be handled by Stripe. KnowAGuyNJ does not store full payment-card numbers on its own servers. Stripe may process information under its own privacy policy.

Website operations and analytics

We may collect ordinary technical data needed to operate, secure and understand the website, such as IP address, browser/device information, pages visited, and basic analytics. We do not sell homeowner project leads because we do not operate a homeowner lead-submission marketplace.

Communications

If you email us, we will use the information you provide to respond and maintain appropriate business records. Businesses that purchase listings may receive operational messages about their listing, payment status, renewal, or policy changes.
